Let me show you the gorgeous day that I spent in Buckinghamshire at the ICONIC Hedsor House!

I could tell you that I was excited when I was asked to be a part of this wonderful day at Hedsor House… but, that’s an understatement. I did a happy dance inside and I was looking forward to it for months!

Upon arrival, I drove down the extensive driveway and then … WOW, there she was, the beautiful venue that is Hedsor House.

Hedsor House is one of the country’s most desirable country house wedding venues. Breathtakingly beautiful, and set within 100 acres of historic Grade II listed parkland, a stunning location for weddings, events and filmmaking. Set on the border of Buckinghamshire and Berkshire, Hedsor House is perched high above the River Thames and offers breath taking views of the Thames Valley, the river itself and surrounding villages.

What’s NOT to love?!

I was thrilled to be asked to apply makeup for two of the models for our styled wedding photoshoot (I applied makeup for Zara and Sinopa). I was one of the first to arrive on the day and I was in awe of the grandeur as soon as I walked in … I was greeted with a smile by the wonderful staff and got myself prepared to welcome our models and fellow wedding suppliers.

I love to create bridal makeup that is NATURALLY RADIANT, makeup that is FLAWLESS, you can tell the bride has had her makeup done but it’s LIGHTWEIGHT, makeup that COMPLIMENTS natural features and tones! Zara and Sinopa are beautiful red heads so I wanted to create a makeup for them both that complimented their natural features, as well as makeup that made them feel confident in their own individual ways.

I take pride in my makeup application to ensure that it lasts for the entire day and it did!

Zara and Sinopa were in multiple locations around Hedsor House on the day and (of course) the great British weather never disappoints … we had sunshine, wind, rain and it was freezing outside. Yet, the makeup stayed put … but I shadowed them for the day to ensure they were looking/feeling their absolute best in front of the camera, I only ever top up lipstick.

The makeup photographed beautifully! It looks airbrushed, naturally glows in the right places and looks seamless! I’m absolutely in love with these photos by Tracey Davies Photography, one of the talented photographers who attended the Wild At Heart Photography Workshop.
